The body seen as an expression of itself.

"The way we usually see the human body is just one of the many possible interpretations, and as such it can be changed and transformed into something that can bring us to a different level of awareness and understanding. Reality is what we are and where we live in, oftentimes however, we have a perception that we are detached from our surroundings including our body. Somehow our body is “less real” than reality because we own it and we are so used to it.

To be able to fuse this two realities together, (the body and the outside world) I have used the body as an abstract object in order to create a new space in which it can really be seen as “less real”, and at the same time part of the reality that is surrounding it. We can now relate to the body not just as something that belongs to us as individuals, but also belongs to the reality of the world, giving us the possibility to perceive it in a more intimate and real way." - Deborah Sinai
